ForEm Foundation was created in memory of Emily Depke, who died from cervical cancer at 42. We work toward preventing HPV-associated cancers through education, HPV vaccination and screening awareness, reliable information, and advocacy. We connect people with trusted resources and learn from and amplify the researchers, healthcare professionals, advocates and organizations already working toward the same goal.

 

We’re a new organization, and we’re building deliberately — learning from the people already doing this work, sharing what they know, and looking for places where ForEm can genuinely help. Today, that begins with the Emily Depke Butterfly Memorial and our work to better understand the role and timing of cancer biomarker testing. As we grow, so will the ways we work toward what matters most: preventing cancer when possible, helping people navigate it when it happens, and improving outcomes.
